What Makes Kolsai Lakes Special?
Three Stunning Lakes – The Kolsai system consists of three lakes at different altitudes:
  • Kolsai-1 (1,818m) – The easiest to reach, surrounded by lush greenery, perfect for a relaxing visit.
  • Kolsai-2 (2,252m) – A bit more remote, accessible by a 9 km hike or horseback ride. Offers breathtaking views of the valley.
  • Kolsai-3 (2,850m) – The highest and most untouched, requiring a challenging hike from Kolsai-2.
  • Rich Wildlife – Spot golden eagles, wild deer, and even bears (from a safe distance!).
  • Mirror-like Water – The lakes reflect the surrounding peaks like a natural postcard.
  • Hiking & Horseback Adventures – The trails offer some of the most scenic trekking and horseback riding experiences in Kazakhstan.
